Baked Parmesan Meatballs
Easy to make meatballs that are delicious in your favorite pasta sauce served over spaghetti.
Serves 1
Ingredients:
1/2 pound ground beef
2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
1 tablespoon dried parsley flakes
1 egg
1 clove garlic, minced
Itlian style bread crumbs as needed
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.

Mix meat, cheese, parsley, egg and garlic well. If the mixture is too wet to form small meatballs, add bread crumbs as necessary.

Shape into small meatballs, using 1 heaping tablespoon of the mixture for each meatball. Makes 8-10 meatballs.

Place meatballs in a foil-lined baking pan and bake for 25 minutes or until cooked through.
Notes:
1. Store bought marinara sauce can be enriched with fresh mushrooms and onions that have been sauteed. Adding a little crushed red pepper to the marinara sauce also adds a tangy taste that most people like.
