Chinese Brown Sauce
An easy to make brown sauce that goes well with any stir fry dish. Similar to what you get when you order chinese take out.
Serves 2
Ingredients:
3/4 cup beef broth (beef bouillon can be used)
1 tablespoon plus 1 teaspoon oyster sauce
1 teaspoon soy sauce
1/2 teaspoon sugar
1 tablespoon cornstarch
Directions:
1. Combine the ingredients in a small saucepan and mix using a whisk.

Bring to a simmer over medium heat, whisking continuously until the sauce thickens.
Notes:
1. Herb-ox makes a sodium free bouillion that is ideal for a low sodium diet.

Add fresh ginger for a different but tasty twist.
